About Impradel

Built on institutional experience. Run with founder-level accountability.

Why We Exist

Every organization deserves to operate without fear.

Impradel exists because too many organizations discover their risk exposure only after it becomes a crisis: a breach, a failed audit, a lost contract because a security questionnaire went unanswered. We believe security should be a source of stability, not anxiety. That belief drives what Impradel builds. Risk intelligence keeps leadership informed before incidents happen, not after. Organizations that know where they stand make better decisions and move faster. They earn the trust their clients and partners require. That is the outcome Impradel exists to deliver.

Our Approach

How we work is as important as what we deliver.

Every engagement begins with understanding your actual risk profile, not a generic checklist applied regardless of context. Impradel focuses effort where it matters most. Gaps that carry real business consequence take priority over ones that simply look impressive on a report. Findings are communicated on a defined, predictable cadence. There is no waiting weeks for a status update and no ambiguity about where an engagement stands. Every assessment, every recommendation, and every control decision is grounded in recognized industry frameworks and current best practice, not internal opinion. Client data is handled with the same discipline we advise our clients to apply to their own. This standard is not stated once and forgotten. It is the operating baseline behind every engagement Impradel delivers.

Mission

Our Mission

To embed continuous, executive-level risk intelligence into organizations that have never had access to it. Impradel replaces point-in-time assessments and reactive security postures with an ongoing function: one that protects operations, satisfies regulators, and earns the confidence of boards, partners, and clients.

Vision

Our Vision

A future in which risk intelligence is not a privilege reserved for the world's largest institutions. Any organization, regardless of size, should have direct access to the same caliber of executive risk leadership once available only inside governments and the largest advisory firms. Security decisions should be made with clarity instead of guesswork. Boards should govern risk with real data instead of quarterly summaries. Resilience should be built in from the start, not bolted on after a breach. Impradel is working toward a future where every organization we touch operates with genuine confidence in its own risk posture, and where that standard becomes the expectation rather than the exception.

Paul Falohun brings over 15 years of IT, cybersecurity, and enterprise risk experience across Canada's public and private sectors, experience shaped by leadership roles inside the institutions organizations trust most with their own risk decisions. His portfolio includes work with the Ontario Provincial Police, the Office of the Chief Information Officer for the Province of British Columbia, Service New Brunswick and the Office of the Chief Information Officer for the Province of New Brunswick, Deloitte, and KPMG.

That government and Big Four pedigree is not incidental to how Impradel operates. It is the foundation of it. Paul has architected enterprise risk governance frameworks, built standardized risk registers and probability-impact models, and developed the kind of executive dashboards that give senior leadership real risk intelligence rather than technical noise. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Network Systems Engineering and advanced degrees in Business Administration and International Business, and is a certified Project Management Professional, Certified ScrumMaster, and Certified Information Security Manager. He holds a Government of Canada Secret Level II security clearance.

Paul's experience spans jurisdictions and continents: work and life across North America, Europe, and Africa have shaped an approach to risk that recognizes it does not look the same in every regulatory environment, every organizational culture, or every market. That global perspective, paired with deep public and private sector experience, is what allows Impradel to translate complex technical risk into language a board actually uses to make decisions.

Impradel exists because most organizations have never had access to this level of risk leadership. Not because it doesn't exist, but because it has historically been locked inside government agencies and Big Four engagement teams, priced and structured for the largest institutions. Impradel makes that same caliber of risk intelligence leadership available as an embedded, ongoing function: the vCRIO model.

How Impradel Delivers at Scale

One accountable leader. A vetted network behind every engagement.

Every Impradel engagement is led directly by Paul: no account handoffs, no rotating junior staff. Where an engagement requires additional specialized capacity, Impradel draws on a pre-vetted network of cybersecurity and risk professionals, scoped and managed under the same accountability as the core engagement. You know who is leading your risk intelligence function, and you are not left re-explaining your organization's risk profile to someone new each time you need support.
